Sault Tribe Board meets July 26 in Sault Ste. Marie

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. — The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will hold a special meeting beginning 5 p.m. on July 26 at the Sault Kewadin Casino, in person or via Zoom, https://zoom.us/j/96906911516.

Those who have already registered for Zoom meetings need not register again.

On the agenda under Resolutions is: SSBCI Application, Rescind Emergency Health Order, Investigating Accusations, Weaponizing Legislation and Investigating Accusations Against Elected Officials.

Under New Business, the board will consider Publish Investigation Report.

Editors Note -

The Sault Tribe Guardian believes it is to everyone's advantage to allow Enrolled Tribal Board Members access to the recorded meetings and that the meetings should be held during regular business hours, allowing the Board Members that travel to the meetings the opportunity to travel back to their Units during daytime hours.  This change would honor the Tribal Members, Staff, and our Board of Directors.
