February 8, 2023. The Budget for the Tribe's Grand Assembly and 50th Year Celebration of Federal Recognition was approved by the Tribal Board. Plans call for monthly events starting in the Spring with the Grand Assembly held as part of the Annual Sault Summer Powwow scheduled for June 30 - July 2, 2023. Final plans have not been announced.
