Why we are asking you to vote no for the new constitution?
1. All Tribal Members Deserve Equal Rights. This document should include equal rights but instead it takes away our rights. They even renamed it in attempt to mislead?
2. The Board of Directors is attempting to take away our rights to information about our tribe. One of the changes that remove our rights is listed on page 15 of the document.
3. If all members were allowed to vote for each change individually we would support the outcome. BUT the current administration is not allowing that to happen. Instead they appear to be attempting to manipulate the members into voting for it because the majority want a separation of powers. Reminder-----It appears that they even renamed the document to mislead the majority into voting for a document that could have easily included EQUAL Rights. They never published the Tribal Member Comments instead they changed their process to get this on the ballot .
Remember how we trusted and voted for the Lansing Casino???? It's like that only worse.
Remember Indian Energy? If all tribal members that wanted to start a business were given millions with no promise or schedule needed as to when it will be paid back just like Indian Energy received...I may trust them but that is not the case.

If you vote yes to the new 3 branch government document....the rights listed above go away. Protect the next seven generations. VOTE NO.
