Without inviting the Sault Tribe Health Director Leo Chugunov to provide his insight on Health Care Improvements needed for the Tribe's Health Care System, the Tribal Board voted to hire Blue Stone Strategy Partners to provide a plan to improve the Tribal Health Care System in attempts to both improve Members Health Care Services and design a plan to open services to the general public similar to the Jamestown Family Health Clinic operated by the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe located in Sequim Washington, the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium and the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. Their hopes are that by expanding services to the General Public they may be able to generate funds needed to expand services to our Tribal Members and produce another source of income for the Tribe.
