Jesus, Moses, and Mohammad all escaped to the "Wilderness" to escape people and to seek Spiritual Growth as do Native American First Nations People.
Today in Canada and the United States we are blessed to have options. When you want to spend time in the wilderness no camping is needed if not desired.
When we honor Mother Earth we are not "praying" to a God or Goddess. We are simply saying Chi-Miigwech....(a big thank you).
We know that Mother Earth is the vessel needed to keep us alive until our Spirit is free from our body; providing the needed resources to allow us to stay alive as Human Beings.
Spending time in the wilderness shows us that man can never outdo the beauty of the planet Earth aka "Mother Earth" and that we are all responsible for protecting her for future generations.
Spending time in the wilderness may help you find inner peace.
Balance; Protect the Earth instead of plundering its resources for financial gain while realizing the Earth's Resources are provided to keep us alive.
