If you keep drifting, the river decides for you.

February 23, 2026.  Spiritual Teachings.

My uncle used to tell me this when I felt lost.

If you keep drifting, the river decides for you.

So pick a direction, even if you are not fully sure yet.

Life is like water.

Some days it is calm and forgiving.

Other days it pulls hard and tests your balance.

Either way, you still have to paddle.

Do not wait for perfect timing.

Perfect timing is a story people tell to excuse fear.

Start where you are.

Use what you have.

Take the next stroke.

Watch who you travel with.

A good companion makes the cold feel lighter.

A careless one can tip you over and call it bad luck.

When the fog comes, slow down.

Listen.

Trust the lessons you have already earned.

You do not need to see the whole path to move forward.

You just need to keep your hands steady.

And when you reach the other side,

Do not brag like you did it alone.

Thank the ones who prayed for you.

Thank the ones who taught you.

Thank the river for letting you pass.

Keep paddling with respect.

The water remembers how you moved through it.
