Song of the Turtle’s Back
Upon the waters, calm and wide,
The Turtle carries worlds inside.
Its shell a map, both old and true,
Of earth, of sky, of morning dew.
Four sacred colors mark the way,
The hand, the seed, the night, the day.
From bubbles rise the breath of birth,
The circle binds all life on earth.
Seaweed dances, rivers sing,
Spirit flows through everything.
Beneath the sun, beneath the waves,
The Turtle guards the path it paves.
O ancient keeper, slow, profound,
Your wisdom walks on sacred ground.
In you we see the world’s embrace,
A living prayer, a timeless grace.
